Jim Forakis

Executive Director

For over 20 years, Rev. Jim Forakis has been the backbone of Adult & Teen Challenge, TN Valley. While the beginnings were primitive, the now successful program has grown into a ministry helping those with life controlling problems. Jim was one of the founding members to incorporate the six month non-residential program as a pre-requisite for starting a new ATC residential center. Jim’s devotion and dedication to this ministry continues as those who struggle with life controlling problems continue to come. In his spare time, Jim has been know to cook some amazing Greek food, and enjoys spending time with his family and his first grandchild.

Amy Forakis

Office Manager

The true backbone of the ministry, Amy has been here for over 20 years. Since the inception, she has been in the background working in the office keeping everything running smoothly. She and her husband, Jim, who happens to be the Executive Director, have been married for 33 years and have three grown sons. Amy enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time with family and her first grandchild. She is heavily involved in her local church, playing piano as well as singing.

Gary Wynes

Program Director

Gary is a graduate of Adult & Teen Challenge, TN Valley. His life was radically changed through the ministry. Now, as our program director, he helps others do the same. Gary comes to us very skilled and highly qualified. His motto is, “If you can think it, we can probably make it” His devotion to the ministry is evident. In his spare time, although very little, he enjoys fishing. But he truly loves to give back, as he has a servant’s heart.

Bobby Crider

Intake/Education Director

Bobby, our newest addition to the staff, moved from Florida to be a part of this ministry team. Bobby, who struggled with drugs and alcohol in his past is now living in freedom through Jesus Christ. He now ministers to others in our program. Bobby’s heart is to see those with addictions set free. He is married to Danielle, 16 years, and son, Braidyn. In his spare time, he loves to ride his motorcycle, fish and spend time with his family.
